By Bockus Payne ArchitectureLocated in suburban Oklahoma City, the design of this outdoor space is reminiscent of a modern lodge getaway with natural stone materials. With a generous backyard as a canvas, the space was divided into zones designated for activities, such as entertaining and socializing, relaxing by the water, and cooking.
A great amount of focus went into creating a distinct entry structure, according to the design team. The grand archway makes a statement; transitioning the outdoor kitchen and living space to an expansive pool area. The truss beams are defined by their signature red color and are repeated throughout the residence, creating a personal brand identity for the homeowner.
The homeowner’s knew they wanted to entertain outdoors and designed a complete outdoor kitchen that functions independently from the one indoors. The built-in Hybrid Fire Grill and Smoker Cabinet allow the homeowners to create restaurant-quality meals in the comfort of their own home for groups both large and small. The sleek stainless steel storage cabinets ensure all kitchen necessities are conveniently at hand and are weather-tight; ensuring contents remain clean and dry.
“We went all-in with Kalamazoo gear in our outdoor space, and love every inch of our outdoor kitchen,” the homeowners said.
