Orange Teriyaki Glaze
A delicious teriyaki glaze brightened in flavor with an orange juice reduction.
- 3 cups freshly-squeezed orange juice
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup toasted sesame oil
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons freshly-grated garlic (use a microplane)
- 4 tablespoons freshly-grated ginger (use a ginger grater or microplane)
In a medium saucepan, reduce the 3 cups of orange juice down to 1 cup over medium heat.
Whisk together the light brown sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and orange juice reduction.
Brush on beef, fish or poultry during the last 5 to 10 minutes of grilling.
