VIP Designers Event
Get an inside look at "Embracing Outdoor Living," the theme of our Chicago VIP Designers Experience that brought together some of the industry's leading professionals.
Kalamazoo and our brand partners, Urban Bonfire and Cosentino, hosted a group of trade partners from around the country for a two-day immersive experience in Chicago. From a live-fire dining experience to a Spanish-inspired brunch and a breezy architectural boat tour on the Chicago River, it was a delight to hold this celebration of outdoor living.
Live-Fire Dining Experience with Kalamazoo
Designers headed to the Kalamazoo Flagship Showroom & Culinary Center to experience the thrill of live-fire cooking where guests enjoyed mouthwatering dishes prepared by Chief Designer and Grillmaster Russ Faulk. They got to know more about Kalamazoo’s outdoor kitchen collection and Urban Bonfire’s high-performance outdoor cabinetry line and the comprehensive outdoor kitchen solutions offered by Kalamazoo and Urban Bonfire.
Grillmaster Russ Faulk prepares tender, savory beef ribs that were slow roasted over a wood fire in Kalamazoo's Argentinian-style Gaucho Grill, and topped off with a fresh green chimichurri sauce. Guests mingled over specialty cocktails as they browsed Kalamazoo's newest collection of high-performance grills and cooking products.
Co-founder and president of Urban Bonfire, Ryan Bloom, shares the company's origin story, from enjoying bonfires at his family’s country home to co-founding a full-service design and manufacturing company specializing in high-performance outdoor kitchens.
Spanish-inspired brunch at Cosentino City Chicago
Cosentino hosted a brunch at their new Cosentino City Chicago showroom in the heart of the Windy City’s Design District. Guests enjoyed a Spanish-inspired brunch and mimosas while exploring the reinvented showroom experience and learning more about Cosentino’s products.
We ended the brunch on a high note with an olive oil tasting hosted by Castillo de Canena.
Patty Dominguez, Vice President of A&D at Cosentino, shares the company's Spanish heritage with designers over a sunny brunch at their brand new, state-of-the-art Chicago showroom.
