Ginger Shandy Beer Cocktail

Beer cocktails are a growing trend, but they have actually been around quite a while. The Black and Tan and Snakebite are both traditional beer cocktails. So is the Shandy. This cocktail is a refreshing twist on the classic formula.

Ginger Shandy Beer Cocktail

Ingredients
Directions
  • 1 ounce Ginger Syrup (recipe follows)
  • 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces club soda
  • 16 ounces Bell’s Lager of the Lakes

Combine chilled syrup, lemon juice and club soda in a tall glass. Top with the lager and enjoy.

Note: You can make refreshing homemade ginger ale with the same ingredients. Simply eliminate the beer and use more club soda.
