Our refrigerators, freezers, wine chillers and beverage centers are very simple to winterize. Simply turn off the power when the weather turns cold. When warmer months arrive, turn your appliance back on.

Ice machines and keg tappers require a little more effort. The lines for water and beer must be drained as part of the process. For the ice maker, we recommend using compressed air to ensure all water is removed from the supply line. If a drain pump is being used, the pump should ideally be disconnected and stored indoors for the winter.

What winterization does your ice maker and refrigerators require in cold water climates?

Hi—own your icemaker and wanted to know if it includes a replaceable filtration system for the water or do I add it to the water supply?

Yes, Christine, you can add a wood cabinet door overlay to our outdoor refrigeration. For outdoor refrigerators, freezers, keg tappers, etc., you can remove the stainless steel panel from the door and replace it with your woodwork. The outdoor ice maker is the only unit that must be ordered specially when used with a wood overlay.

Can your appliances receive custom cabinetry panels?
