We love the Kalamazoo pizza oven. We just got it and absolutely love it. It is a great addition to our dinner parties, everyone wants to get into the act. The only downside is my growing waistline!

My husband and I bought this pizza grill for our new home in North Carolina. At first we were a little intimidated to really use the oven, but once we got started making our own dough (kitchen aid helps here!) we make pizzas every weekend. I used to make pizzas in the oven on a stone, and that does not compare in quality to what you can do with the grill. The crust is perfect every time. Also you need to get pizza peels, and ensure that your pizza will slide off the peel into the oven or you will have a mess. But don’t worry, the mess is easy to clean up! We love this grill!! Our next step is to use the grill for other food items than just pizza.

This looks beautiful and elegant, while much more efficient than wood-fired. Do you have any independent reviews or publications on bread baking performance, which would be my particular application. Do you have a distributor in Canada?

Gary, the pizza oven does an excellent job of roasting meats, fish and vegetables. You simply place them in a cast iron skillet. I use fajita pans in the oven with the lower control set to LOW and the upper control on HIGH. If you like an Italian-style steak, our oven is a great tool. I haven’t personally tried cooking a burger in there, but I expect it would work quite well—especially a nice cheeseburger using the heat from above to not just melt the cheese, but also brown it a little.
