Just in time for outdoor cooking season, Kalamazoo launched its new Smoker Cabinet.

This competitive-grade barbecue smoker for the outdoor cook uses gravity-feed charcoal technology with an insulated and sealed design for maximum efficiency. It’s available as a freestanding cart model that rests on heavy-duty casters, or an under-counter smoker – the first ever of its kind. Included with it is the BBQ Guru computer-controlled fan system that reliably and precisely monitors the temperature in the pit. It blows air on the fire as needed to maintain the set temperature in the pit.

“We applied our proven expertise in live-fire cooking to this new product category, and we worked intently and carefully to create a smoker truly worthy of the Kalamazoo name,” said Russ Faulk, our chief designer and head of product. “It’s a sleek smoker that matches the modern design aesthetic of our entire collection and retains our signature performance.”

It’s no surprise that the media is taking notice.

Gear Patrol declared it’s “the outdoor cooking upgrade a meat lover needs.” Meanwhile, Robb Report called it “guarantees a sophisticated outdoor cooking experience.” InsideHook was quite impressed by the BBQ Guru integration with a humorous observation that it’s “probably smarter than your honors student.”
