The True Charcoal and Gas Combination Grill Comes from Kalamazoo
One hood. One grate. One grill. A Kalamazoo combination gas and charcoal grill does not use the popular side-by-side design of most combo grills. A Kalamazoo grill cooks with any combination of gas, charcoal and wood over any portion of the grill — or across the entire cooking area.
How does a Kalamazoo gas and charcoal combo grill work?
- The dual grill drawer is located above powerful gas burners. Leave the drawer empty for high-performance gas cooking. For charcoal cooking, simply load the drawer with lump charcoal or natural briquettes and use the burners below to quickly start the fire. Once the fire is started, you can turn the burners off; or you can leave the burners running for true combo grill cooking.
- The operating temperature range of our combo grill for gas cooking is from approximately 250ºF to 750ºF. This means you can pursue low and slow traditional American barbecue techniques, and you can sear on any part of the grill grate.
- When using charcoal in the combo grill, the temperature can extend lower and much, much higher.
- Any ash falls through the drawers and past the burners down the deep hopper to an ample cleanout pan.
The Kalamazoo Hybrid Fire Grill is the ultimate gas and charcoal combination grill.
